Cyprotel Faliraki Hotel 4* – New Policies and Measures 2020

The All Inclusive meals package:

  1. All meals will be served in the main Lydia Terrace Restaurant. Breakfast: 07:00 – 11:00    /  Lunch-Snack: 12:30 – 16:30    /  Dinner: 18:30 – 22:00
  2. The snack bar will not operate this season due to its open air plan and snacks will therefore be served in the main restaurant.
  3. Extended hours now apply to all meal times in order to ensure that the new COVID-19 laws and regulations are upheld with the following mandatory measures applying:
    a) All guests must sanitize their hands prior to entering the restaurant
    b) A 1 m distance must be kept between guests not travelling in the same party
    c) A maximum capacity of 100 guests indoors and 100 guests outdoors is permitted, meaning that guests may have to wait for others to leave before being allowed to enter the restaurant
    d) Meals will be served in buffet style but guests will not be able to self-serve as was traditionally the norm.  Kitchen staff will hand guests their plates and cutlery and will serve them from behind the buffet stations. There will be no guest contact on any of the food or beverage stations.

The All Inclusive drinks package:

  1. All beverages will be served in the main Lydia Restaurant (hours are stated above), the Idra Pool Bar (10:00 – 24:00) and the Kiosk (10:00 – 24:00).  The Helena Roof Top Bar will remain closed for Summer 2020 as it’s set up requires the confinement of guests in a closed space that does not adhere to the new COVID-19 regulations.
  2.  The following mandatory measures apply concerning the service of beverages:
    a) All guests must sanitize their hands prior to queuing at the bars.
    b) A 1 m distance must be kept between guests not travelling in the same party
    c) In the Lydia Terrace Restaurant guests will be required to queue at the beverage stations and be served all drinks from behind the Plexiglas drinks counters at all meals by restaurant staff.
    d) At the Idra Pool Bar and the Kiosk, guests will be required to queue to order their drinks and will be served by bar staff from behind Plexiglas covers on the bar counters.
    e) Only one-use plastic and carton cups will be used at the Pool bar and Kiosk so guests are kindly asked to dispose of them in the provided bins once they have finished their drink.

The Housekeeping Policy:

  1. As per new regulations room cleaning will only be offered every three days; to clarify, a guest staying one week will have their room fully sanitized upon arrival and serviced another two times during their stay.
  2. Chambermaids are not permitted to touch any of the guests’ personal belongings so we kindly ask that all items are kept in the closet or suitcase. Rooms that are found to have personal belongings scattered around will not be serviced.
  3. Pool towels are only offered upon request and cannot be exchanged for fresh ones so guests must keep the same towel throughout their stay.
  4. Items and amenities that are commonly shared by guests will be removed from guest rooms such as tea & coffee making facilities and decorative pillows.

The Swimming Pools Policy:

  1. A mandatory distance of 5 meters must be kept between guests not travelling in the same party whilst in the water.
  2. The use of pool towels is mandatory on sun loungers.
  3. Pool showers have been fitted with extra chlorine dosage dispensers and it is mandatory that all guests including children shower prior to entering the pools.
  1. The maximum capacity of guests permitted in each pool area according to their square meters is as follows:
    a) Main Pool = 180 pax  / Main Children’s Pool = 6 pax / Jacuzzi = 3 pax
    b) Snack Bar Pool = 45 pax
    c) Water Park Slide Pool = 65 pax / Water Par Kids Pool = 20 pax

Animation Activities Policy:

  1. There will be no Kids or Teens Club for Summer 2020. Any activities involving children will be coordinated together with parents and will be held outdoors.
  2. Evening entertainment will consist only of DJ nights and possibly Quiz or non-contact games nights.
  3. The use of gloves and hand sanitizing are mandatory when taking part in activities such as Archery and Table Tennis.
  4. There will be no contact sports activities such as football, volleyball or water polo.
  5. Fitness activities such as Stretching, Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, Aerobics, Dance Lessons, Aqua Aerobics etc… can still be organized but only in large open spaces with guests maintaining a minimum distance of 1 meter. Prior to classes commencing guests must sanitize their hands with the antiseptic gel provided. Our animators will clean and disinfect the fitness mats and equipment used prior to each class.
  6. Sports Activities such as Table Tennis, Boccia, Darts, Archery, Rifle Shooting, Tennis, Foot Tennis can still be organized provided guests wear protective disposable gloves. All equipment will be sanitized with a virucide prior to every guest use.

Arrivals & Departures Policy:

  1. Check out by 11:00 a.m. at the latest and check in will be available from 15:00 and onwards in order to allow ample time for the housekeeping department to clean and sanitize every new arrival room.
  2. Porter service is only available for the elderly, for pregnant women and for families with small children.

Disinfectant units will be placed across different areas of the hotel.

As these safety and hygiene protocols are constantly changing, we will be adjusting any measures, services, facilities etc accordingly either these being more relaxed or strict.
